Who Operates the Site and Acceptance of the Terms
glitzroomix operates this website from the United Kingdom and provides specialised courses in live production decks and control rooms. These courses cover multi-camera switching, live broadcasting techniques, real-time video operation, and professional management of television and streaming productions. By accessing or using the site you accept these terms in full. If you do not agree you must stop using the site immediately. Continued use after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Eligibility and Permitted Use
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts under UK law. The site and courses are intended for individuals and organisations seeking professional training in broadcast and streaming production. You may use the materials only for your own learning or internal business training. Commercial resale or redistribution of course content is not permitted. Access is granted on a non-exclusive non-transferable basis.
Prohibited Conduct
You must not attempt to copy, record or share course videos or materials beyond personal use. You must not interfere with site security, attempt unauthorised access or use automated tools to scrape content. Harassment of other users or staff, submission of false information and any activity that breaches UK law including the Computer Misuse Act 1990 is prohibited. Breaches may result in immediate termination of access and legal action.
Accounts, Submissions and User Content
Course enrolment may require creation of an account. You are responsible for keeping login details secure. Any submissions such as assignments or feedback become the property of glitzroomix for the purpose of delivering and improving services. You retain ownership of original work but grant a licence for glitzroomix to use it in course delivery and quality assurance. Accounts may be suspended for inactivity or policy breaches.
Ownership of Site Content, Trademarks and Permitted Limited Use
All course materials, videos, diagrams and text remain the intellectual property of glitzroomix or its licensors. Trademarks and logos may not be reproduced without prior written consent. You may print or download limited portions solely for personal study. Any other reproduction requires express permission. Infringement may lead to claims for damages under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.
Third-Party Services and Links
The site may reference third-party platforms used for video hosting or payment processing. These are provided for convenience only and glitzroomix does not endorse or guarantee their performance. Any contract you enter with a third party is separate from these terms. We are not liable for losses arising from third-party services.
Availability, Changes, Suspension and Termination
We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update courses, suspend accounts or withdraw services at any time for technical, legal or commercial reasons. Termination for breach ends your right to access paid content without refund except where consumer law requires otherwise.
Disclaimers Subject to Mandatory Consumer Law
Course descriptions are provided in good faith but we do not warrant that every technique will suit your specific equipment or production environment. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot be limited under UK law including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Limitation of Liability
Subject to the paragraph above our total liability for any claim arising from the site or courses shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses including loss of business opportunity or data. This limitation is proportionate to the nature of the training services offered.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify glitzroomix against claims, losses and expenses arising from your breach of these terms or misuse of course materials, except to the extent caused by our negligence or breach.
Governing Law, Courts and Consumer Dispute Rights
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident in the United Kingdom you retain rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and may use alternative dispute resolution schemes where available. Nothing removes your right to bring proceedings in your local courts under applicable consumer protection rules.
Severability, Waiver, Changes, Contact Route and Last-Updated Date
If any provision is found invalid the remainder continues in force. Failure to enforce a term does not constitute a waiver. We may update these terms and will indicate the date of the latest revision. Contact us using the form on the Contacts page or via [email protected], 01494 671234 or Beaconsfield Studios, Station Road, Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, HP9 1LG for any questions.
